Jason Taylor Judis passed away from an unexpected illness on April 17, 2024. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 26, 1996. He went to Ottawa Hills for grade school and high school where he excelled in Tennis and enjoyed being a member of the stage crew for the many school musicals and plays. He went on to graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in computer science. While in college he grew deeply involved with the Orthodox Jewish religion, which gave him purpose and a sense of community for the rest of his life. He traveled to Israel to further his studies and personal growth at Machon Shlomo yeshiva. He returned to the United States and continued to study at the Shor Yoshuv yeshiva in Far Rockaway Bay, New York. He made many wonderful friends from around the world. He was grateful for his many Rabbi mentors who helped guide him along his path and for the continued support of the Chabad House of Greater Toledo. He enjoyed travelling with his family, playing video games and board games with his friends, and playing the guitar. His relationships were the center of his life, and he would always make the effort to bring people together. He was a kind person who loved to learn, always had a smile on his face, and was aware of the truly important things in life.
He is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Stephanie, and his siblings Justin and Sari, maternal grandparents, Bernie and Sharon Friedman and Richard and Sandy Rose. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bernard and Barbara Judis.
